About DropAnything
DropAnything is a free tool for moving photos, videos and files between any two devices, straight in the browser.
It was built to fix a everyday frustration: sending files between a phone and a computer - especially between a Windows PC and an iPhone - is far harder than it should be. AirDrop is Apple-only, Bluetooth is blocked on iOS, cables and iTunes are fiddly, and many apps cap free transfers or make you sign up.
DropAnything takes a different approach. When you open it on two devices and pair them with a QR code, it opens a direct connection between the two browsers (using a web technology called WebRTC) and streams your files from one device to the other. That means:
- No app to install on either device.
- No account or sign-up.
- No file-size limit and no compression - files arrive at full original quality.
- Private by design - your files are never uploaded to or stored on a server; they go straight from one device to the other.
- Works across iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac and Linux, in any direction.
Received photos and videos save straight to your gallery; documents, music and other files save to Files or Downloads.
DropAnything is designed and built by iCoCo Developers - iCoCo Associates Limited.
